17. CONFIDENTIALITY INCIDENT PROCESS

In the event of an incident involving personal information, Multilogements Chez Toit Inc. ensures that it follows the procedure set out in the Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector and its related regulations.

When an incident presents a risk of serious harm, the Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI), as well as those concerned by the incident, are notified to the extent possible, as soon as possible after becoming aware of the incident.

If third parties must be contacted in order to mitigate the damage that may result from the incident, Privacy Officer shall ensure that we only disclose the essential personal information for that purpose and that the communication is recorded.

An incident log is maintained by the Privacy Officer or his representative. By transmitting personal information to the Multilogements Chez Toit inc., it is understood that the individuals concerned understand that we implement best practices and protection mechanisms to limit the possibility of occurrence of any incident, leakage or misuse of personal information. However, we cannot guarantee foolproof security in any conceivable scenario.
